"The ride was actually the easiest long ride I've ever done. The weather was perfect and all I had to do was pedal. Most of the ride was beautiful pavement though there were a couple of spots where I was on unpaved roads but nothing that my road bike couldn't handle. The only challenge that I had was late in the day most of the small towns had nothing in them and I spent hours with no food or water. I should have loaded up earlier in the day but the map made it look like there'd be never ending options.
