Description: The Hadrians Wall Cycle Route trace the border that the Roman Empire Created when they got scared of going further North when they met the Scots! Starting on the idyllic Cumbrian Coast the Route follows a the curve of Cumbrian Shoreline through port towns until it comes inland at Carlisle with a lap of the famous Castle. From there the route move up into the fells with harsh climbs one after another all on exposed hill sides before dropping down and chase the Tyne river into Newcastle. After a technical route following along the riverside and short ferry The route ends in South Shields
