Crossing of NSW

Name: Crossing of NSW
Start Flat Rock Creek Currumbin / Tugun QLD
Finish: Murray River at Albury Wodonga  (Lincoln causeway bridge)
GPX: File or Ride with GPS
Distance 1632km / 1014 miles

Description: This bike route offers a balanced mix of sealed roads (60%) and off-road gravel paths (40%) as it crosses New South Wales, finishing over the Murray River at Albury Wodonga via the Lincoln Causeway Bridge. It’s a route that takes you through a range of scenery, from forested areas and national parks to rural farmland and small country towns, with a challenging climb over the Great Dividing Range.

While the journey includes some stunning views and peaceful sections, expect a variety of road conditions, especially on the gravel paths, which can be rough and slow-going in parts. The ride mostly avoids major highways, but there are still a few short stretches where sharing the road with traffic is unavoidable.
