Description: This is a mountain bike trail that circles all of Lake Tahoe.
Ticky Route Finding sections across Incline Village (described if going counterclockwise)
1. Allison Dr. to Dorcey Ct. There is about ¼ mile of hike-a-bike to connect the two neighborhoods.
2. Getting into the Madden Creek trail off of Sacramento St (mile 76) is confusing. You start but a
steep Conservancy lot between two houses. It feels like trespassing, but it is public land.
3. Spooner Lake has a “no biking” sign just south of 50. Just ignore the signs and follow the track.
That sign should be moved back a few hundred feet to the actual junction of the Tahoe Rim Trail.

Three days is hard but doable for most people on a regular mountain bike. If you have 20-30 pounds of
bikepacking gear, most people will have more fun taking four days.

3-day itinerary #1 (roughly 45 miles a day)
Day 1: Ski Run to Mt Rose Hwy - 40 miles, 5300 feet. There is limited camping off Mt. Rose Highway
and AirBnb’s nearby. However, all the food is 1500 vertical feet down in Incline Village. Stash your bike
and take Uber/Lyft?
Day 2: Mt. Rose to Tahoma 42 miles, 5800 feet
Day 3: Tahoma to Ski Run 39 miles, 3300 feet
3-day itinerary #2 (roughly 45 miles a day)
Day 1: Ski Run to Kings Beach - 50 miles, 6300 feet (difficult route finding across Incline Village at the
end of the day that is nearly impossible at night).
Day 2: Kings Beach to Tahoma 35 miles, 5000 feet
Day 3: Tahoma to Ski Run 39 miles, 3300 feet
