Description:  The COLT Loop (Central Ontario Loop Trail)  was created and published by Bikepacking.com. It starts and ends in Fenelon Falls and is 457km of gravel road, atv trail, hiking trail and the odd bit of paved road. The Loop winds its way from Fenelon Falls down towards the waterfront, along the coastline of Lake Ontario towards Port Hope before heading North along the Hastings Heritage trail for roughly 100km of remote ATV trail up to Bancroft. From here, the route winds its way through the northernmost part of the route where it finds the majority of its elevation on a mix of paved and gravel roads before finally ending up back on flat fast gravel rail trail back to the start point.
